Sales Agreement
This Sales Agreement forms a legal contract between the Customer and Wattson Bonsai. The terms and conditions of this Sales Agreement are subject to change without notice. The terms and conditions posted on the Wattson Bonsai website at the time of the sale governs the sales transaction. This Sales Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Customer and Wattson Bonsai relating to the sales of goods on this site. Electronic records (including signatures), that are otherwise valid, shall be accepted under the Sales Agreement. The Customer consents to receiving electronic records, which may be provided via a web browser or e-mail application connected to the Internet; consumers may withdraw consent to receiving electronic records or have the record provided in non-electronic form by contacting Wattson Bonsai, prior to the sales transaction.
Placing an Order
Placing an order online could not be easier. Browse our online shop and click ‘Buy’ next to any items that you want to purchase. This places the items into your shopping basket, which can be reviewed at any point. When you are happy with the contents of your shopping basket you can proceed to the checkout where you will enter your delivery and billing details. If you register as a Member of this website, you will only need to enter your shipping and billing details once. As we do not store your credit card details, these will need to be entered each time you make a purchase.
When we receive your order, we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. Forms of Payment
Wattson Bonsai accepts payment via PayPal and also Visa, MasterCard and Debit Cards also processed via the PayPal interface. All cheques and money orders must clear into our bank account prior to the order being accepted and shipped. Credit card orders are not binding until payments are authorised by the credit card issuer or other financial institution.
Delivery
All items for sale are kept in stock and will therefore be shipped immediately. Should a delay in the shipping process occur, we will notify you by telephone or email. At this time we will investigate the delay on your behalf and endeavour to give an expected date of delivery. As each item is unique, we cannot offer a standard delivery charge, but we guarantee that we do not and will never "mark-up" or make profit on the shipping charge. What the courier charges us to transit the item from source is the figure that we will pass on.
Shipping, Insurance, VAT and Other Duties
All product is shipped prepaid using the most appropriate carrier and is insured for the full value. Wattson Bonsai usually ships domestic and international orders by courier, but faster delivery times can be arranged by request. All shipping and insurance costs are charged to the customer at the time of sale. If the product is shipped outside of the UK, the customer is responsible for all applicable import duties and other taxes. Currently, for sales within the UK there is no extra duty to pay on any product.
Shipment Address
For security purposes, we will only deliver to the verified billing address as shown on the customer's credit card statement. Alternate delivery addresses can be requested but shipment will only occur once the funds have been transferred and then, we will specify that a Proof of Delivery signature is obtained by our courier.
Damaged Product
To ensure that "damage in transit" can be claimed correctly, please inspect your delivery BEFORE signing to accept it from the courier. In this way, any damage that occurs can be identified and documented. If damage is noticed, immediately contact Wattson Bonsai for further instructions on the product return process and keep the original packaging. Failure to contact Wattson Bonsai immediately may result in the forfeiting of a credit or refund.
